Illustrated keys to the families Chrysomelidae, Orsodacnidae, Bruchidae and Megalopodidae, subfamilies and small families, genera and species are provided.

The chrysomelids include a number of species of popular interest, either because of their attractive metallic coloration or status as pests in farms and gardens. However, for many years there has been no single simple affordable identification guide in English to the species found in Britain and Ireland. This book aims to fill the gap.
